He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Jay and Minnie Christian Staley; and his brothers, Donnie Staley and James Staley. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Nelson Staley; his children, Debra Annette Webb (Brian) of Lavalette and Brian Edward Staley (Kim) of Virgie, KY; his sister Jean Thacker of Lavalette; his sister-in-law Alice Staley of Lavalette; his grandchildren, Rachel Aldridge (Tyler), Caleb Webb (Katie), Erica Hunt (Christian) and Erin Smith (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Oaklyn Hunt, Callum Hunt, Kolson Smith, Tristan Webb and Evelyn Aldridge.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
