She was predeceased by: her parents, Jinks "Buddy" Nelson and Janice Ruth Johnson Nelson. She is survived by: her sons, Andrew Scott Nelson (Victoria) of Wayne, WV and Seth Wellington Summers (Mollie) of South Point, OH; her siblings, Linda Whaley of Wayne, WV, Carole Pelfrey (Frank) of Tornado, WV, Phyllis Nelson of Wayne, WV, Marcia Blair (Jimmy Johnson) of Huntington, WV and Charles Nelson (Paula) of Kiahsville, WV; and her grandchildren, Clayton Nelson, Emmalyn Nelson, Colt Summers and Briar Summers. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
A reception will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel (79 Bridge St, Wayne, WV 25570).
