It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Artenna Mae Cogar of Webster Springs, West Virginia, born in Bolair, West Virginia, who passed away on April 9, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Monty Cogar and Clara Woodring Cogar Steele; and her siblings, Paulina Sill, Louise Hamrick, Maxile Morgan Cogar and Denzil Steele.
She is survived by : her daughters, Linda Mahaffey of Harleysville and Sue Harrah of Beaver; and her grandchildren, Bobby Cogar of Bolair, Ronnie Cogar of Fenwick Mountain, Bonnie Harrah of Chilhowie, Virginia, Patricia Ross of Conway, Tamara Mahaffey Martinez of Jacksonville and Jennifer Mahaffey Kennedy of Harleysville. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
