She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Payne and Patricia Payne; her brothers, John Payne (Poke) and Jimmy Payne; and her niece Erica Payne.

She is survived by: her pets, Rascal, Clover and Shadow; her children, Cory Adkins (Brenna Craig) and Tracy Helmick (Dallas); her granddaughters, Hollyn Helmick, Elyse Helmick and Josephine Helmick; her sister Carol Stout (Gary); and her nephew Kole Payne.
