He was predeceased by : his father Raymond "Burb" Williams; his wife Anna J. Williams; and his brothers, Clyde, Stanley, Pete, Jacob, Bradley and Raymond Jr..

He is survived by : his son Douglas Williams, II; and his brothers, Robert, Paul and Thomas Williams. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, special friends, and other extended family.
