With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Karl Nicholas Stewart (Webster Springs, West Virginia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2025 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William and Addie Lea "Shorty" Stewart (Brown); his siblings, Delmas Stewart and Gustava Hodder; his father-in-law Delbert McCoy; and his son Bryan Rexroad.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Stewart (McCoy); his children, Robert Franklin "Jake" Stewart (Destiny) of Heaters and Ashley McCoy (Ethan Bender) of Jumbo; his grandchildren, Logan, Landon Rexroad, Brayden Stewart and Zachary Bender; his siblings, Buster Brown, Betty Huffman and Joe Brown; and his mother-in-law Darlene McCoy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dodd & Reed Funeral Home (155 Mc Graw Ave, Webster Springs, WV 26288). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
