With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lonnie Short (Webster Springs, West Virginia), who passed away on July 25, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Marian Short (Rogers); and his brother James "Junior" Short. He is survived by: his father Charles "Bubby" Short; his wife Jessica Short (Cutlip); his son Jeremie Short; his granddaughter Madison Short; his sisters, Carrie Gress and Charlotte Short; his siblings-in-law, Charl Jordan and Elvis Cutlip; his siblings' children, Ashley Cutlip, Cynthia Short, Charlie Jordan, Chelsie Bender, CJ Short, Chandra Gress, Alec Gress and Melody Norton; and his great-niece Charlotte Bender. He is also survived by other relatives and good friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dodd & Reed Funeral Home (155 Mc Graw Ave, Webster Springs, WV 26288). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
