She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence David and Ruby Marie Durham Hinkle; her husband Ron Miles; and her siblings, Dee Hinkle, Leslie Hinkle, Margaret Patricia McComas and Norma Lee Price.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Carpenter (Mark), Robin Arthur (Jimmy) and Tony Pottmeyer (Sherry); her sister Joann Dunlap (Jerry); her grandchildren, Chandler Carpenter (Vanessa), Daniel Carpenter (Tiffany), Cordell Swisher, Nathanael Arthur, Emily Pottmeyer and Jenna Grooms (Austin); and her great grandchildren, Keziah Carpenter, Aliyah Carpenter, Zariyah Carpenter, Lilah Carpenter, Kamerion Church, Colton Nolan, Teagan Nolan and Benson Carpenter.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Dodd & Reed Funeral Home (155 Mc Graw Ave, Webster Springs, WV 26288). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
