Alice Wright Duckworth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Wright Duckworth of Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on October 1, 2025 at the age of 104. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley M. Wright and Birda Baker Wright; her husband Clarence "Ducky" Duckworth; her children, Perry Duckworth and Barbara Ann Duckworth; and her siblings, Lester, Orin Wright, Nina Wright, Cleo Weekley, Enabell Davis and Vivian McKimmie.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Zuccolotto (Henry); her daughter-in-law Mary Duckworth; and her grandsons, Michael Duckworth (Tina), Kurt Duckworth (Rachel), Justin Zuccolotto (Polina) and Brent Zuccolotto. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and at 5:00 PM. A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at the Shirley United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Northern Panhandle Shrine Club Children's Travel Fund or to the American Cancer Society.
