It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Audra Imogene Powell (Weirton, West Virginia), who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, William Spencer and Delphia Minda Childers Wells; her son James David Powell; her brothers, Edgar, Ralph, William Ray, Paul, Donald and Harold Wells; her stepbrother Forrest Glenn Wells; her sisters, Pearl Starkey and Garnet Wells; and her stepsister Amanda Wells.

She is survived by : her husband Chester; her children, Carl (June Smith), Larry Powell and Linda Darlene Corwin; and her grandchildren, April Simms (Clinton), Christopher Powell, Brandy Cooke (Tim), Ashley Oneal (Danny) and Brandon Corwin (Zarina). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
