We announce the death of Barbara A. Dofka of Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 90. Barbara will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel Mae and Otto Barrett; her significant other Edward F. Dofka; and her siblings, Charles and Agnes.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory B. Dofka (Dana Wedgewood) of New Cumberland and Dr. Dianna Shipley (David) of Gallatin, TN; her sisters-in-law, Patricia "Patty" Zielinsky (Thomas) of Weirton and Rose Ann Keller of Denver; her grandchildren, Gregory Dofka, Emily Shipley and Jonathan Shipley; her great grandchildren, Bailey and Eva; and her pet Angel.
