With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Brian Wetzel of Weirton, West Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 17, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Brian leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parent Corliss K. "Bud" Wetzel. He is survived by: his parent Jean A. Gribben Wetzel; his brother Curtiss Wetzel (Kim); his nephews, Caleb Wetzel (Tara), Joshua Wetzel (Abbey), Joseph Wetzel (Katelynn) and Isaac Wetzel; his great-nephew Miles Lincoln Wetzel; and his great-niece Millie Marie Wetzel.
