He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Gibson Wolverton and Geraldine Glenda Nicholson Wolverton; his daughter Deanna Wolverton Antigo; his sister Helen Hoge; and his brothers-in-law, James Hoge and Carl Keister.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Chipps Wolverton; his son Daniel Wolverton (Sara); his grandchildren, Courtney Antigo Destefano (Joe), Anthony Antigo (Megan), Austin Wolverton (Cheyenne), Selena Queiroga (Jeff), Xavier Wolverton (Bailey), Hattie and Jamison Wolverton; his great grandchildren, Emmett Wolverton, Whitley Wolverton, Addie, Gracie, Kaylie, Brylie Antigo, Sofia Destefano and Mila Queiroga; and his sisters, Judy Keister and Glenda Kelley (Dennis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services (380 Penco Rd, Weirton, WV 26062). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
