Though Doris may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Proffitt and Mae Proffitt; and her husband Arthur "Bud". She is also survived by five daughters, one son-in-law, four grandchildren and their spouses, 19 great grandchildren.
