We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2023, at the age of 80, Ellen Virginia Gareis (Weirton, West Virginia), born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Rust and Helen Stack Rust; her husband Earl; her daughters, Margaret and Nancy Gareis; and her brothers, John and Robert Rust.

She is survived by : her children, Gregory Gareis, Cheryl Derby (Timothy) of Weirton and Diana Dulaney (John) of Weirton; her grandchildren, Timothy (Tjay), Monica Derby, Heather Abbott (Anthony) and Tyler Dulaney; her great grandchildren, Bekah, Colton, Wyatt, Mikelle and Naveah; her siblings, William Rust (Linda) of Pittsburgh, Patricia Padgelek (Roscoe) of Ruffsdale, PA. and Claire McNally of Pittsburgh; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine and Chris Rust.
