It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irene Molchan of Weirton, West Virginia, who passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Molchan and Marta Telmanik Molchan; her siblings, John, George Molchan, Julia Molchan, Anna Decker and Marie Makowski; her brothers-in-law, Carl Decker and Henry Makowski; and her niece Denise Decker.

She is survived by : her sister Pauline Molchan of Weirton; her nephews, James E. Decker, John C Decker (Luann), Richard Decker of New Cumberland, WV and Henry Makowski of Texas; and her niece Dr. Judy K. Vincent (Dale) of Hawaii. She is also survived by several great nieces, nephews and a great-great niece.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Orthodox Church (608 Colliers Way, Weirton, WV 26062).
