He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas A. Evans and Margaret Belt Evans; his brother Charles Evans; his granddaughter Courtney Shields; and his sisters, Cindy Evans and Shirley Brown.
He is survived by: his close friend Dorothy Beatty of Weirton; his children, Rhonda Browne (Phil) of Charleston, WV, Brad Evans (Missy) of Weirton and John Evans of Weirton; his stepchildren, Mark L. Crawford (Dee Dee) of Nashville, TN and Tamara Crawford (Ray Robinson) of Morgantown, WV; and his grandchildren, Philip, David Evans, Andrew, Aaron, Allie Browne, Carly, Taylor and Jake Shields.
