He was predeceased by: his parents, John Veltri and Theresa Gazia Veltri; his wife Frances Ann "Cookie" Maslowski; and his sister Lillian Beagle. He is survived by: his sons, Joseph John "Joey" Veltri, Jr. (Theresa), Michael Anthony Veltri (Lori) and John Anthony Veltri (Linda); his grandchildren, Robbie Joseph, Christopher Michael, Anthony Ryan, Luke Marco (Tori) and Morgan Elizabeth Veltri; and his siblings, Marco Veltri and Angela Moldas.
