She is survived by: her children, Jason Gomola (Krystal) and Kellee Waddell (Gatan); her grandchildren, Avett Gomola, Grayson Gomola and Azalea Waddell; her friend Robert Gomola (Carol); her brothers, William "Bill" Mitchell (Sylvia) and Kevin Mitchell (Sandra); her son Blaze Grigson; and her nieces and nephews, Erich Mitchell, Jay Gomola, Heather Beauralt (Jimmie), Katie Gomola and Alison Gomola.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kim's honor to a fire station of choice to honor her respect of firefighters.
