With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary L. DiFonzo of Weirton, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary left this world on October 13, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Rocchio and Pauline Pirraglia Rocchio. She is survived by: her children, Vince DiFonzo (Cheryl), Monica Eafrati (Danni), Andrea Burns (John) and Denise Haught (Chris); her siblings, Frank Rocchio (Sharon), Joann Kondik (David), Jeanette Rocchio-Whitlatch, Francine Quattrocchi (Frank) and Josette Hudek (Marty); her grandchildren, Drew DiFonzo (Gia), Vinnie DiFonzo (Nicolette), Jadin Eafrati, Nico Eafrati, Joshua Burns (Colleen), Grace Burns, Jarad Haught and Mariona Haught; and her great grandchildren, Sophia Burns, Carmen DiFonzo and Enzo DiFonzo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church (229 California Ave, Weirton, WV 26062).
