She was predeceased by: her parents, David Guy Shrader and Lena Reed Shrader Bennett; her husband Paul Ray Groves; and her brother Dennis Guy Shrader. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Groves (Rosann), David Groves (Leslie), Daniel Groves (Dianne) and Donald Groves (Darcee); her grandchildren, Amber, Amanda (Marcus Wells), Andrea (Crispin Havener), Chad (Andjela), James, Shaylee and Deedra; her great grandchildren, Marcus Jr., Rene and Luka; and her close friend George Pohlman.
