He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Kokenos and Mary Hollaway Kokenos; his nephew Denzel Sean Linn; and his stepgrandson Austin Bullock. He is survived by: his wife Lynne O'Leary Kokenos; his son Eric Carper; his stepchildren, Shawn Bullock (Kim), Brian Bullock (Nyrha Hawkins), Daniel Forston (Jim) and Kristi Pruszenski (Michael); his sister Juanita T. Kokenos Linn (Denzel); his grandson Caleb Carper; his stepgrandchildren, Kaitlynne, Scott, Stephanie Bullock, Halle and Emily Pruszenski; his godson Jason Linn; his niece Kelsi Linn; his brother-in-law Vernon Michael O'Leary; his nephew Patrick O'Leary (Sarah); and his niece Erica O'Leary.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Humane Society or the Brooke County Humane Society. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Michael S. Kokenos 's name.
