She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Orologas and Joann Demas Orologas; her husband Robert D. Tortis; her son Robert Charles "Bobby" Tortis; and her sister Anna Moten.

She is survived by: her daughter Tina Marie Tortis; her grandson Robert Daniel "Bobby" Tortis; her great grandchildren, Lily, Ava and Robert Charles Tortis; and her sister Mary Johnson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
