She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband Ed Novak; her son Martin Swaggard (Lisa); her mother Carmella Tamaggi; and her sister Marsha Overholt.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Steel & Wolfe Funeral Home & Cremation Services (380 Penco Rd, Weirton, WV 26062). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
