It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Edward Pizzoferrato of Weirton, West Virginia, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Thornton Pizzoferrato and Alice Pizzoferrato (Fish); his former life partner Millie; his fiancée Carolyn Barnhart (Buchanan); and his children, Rebecca Louise Devore and Richard Joseph Pizzoferrato.

He is survived by : his grandchildren, Ashley and Devon Devore (family: Daniel Barnhart). He is also survived by great grandchildren and his addition family and caregiver.
