She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Mae Dawson and Jerry R. Welch; her grandparents, John and Alberta Dawson Kruger (late William Dawson Jr.); her aunts, Alexis Jablonski (Dawson), Sherry Poarch (Stevenson), Janet Dawson (Welch), Betty Ferrelli (Welch), Rose Dawson (Mitchell) and Marge Emmanuel (Dawson); and her uncle William "Sonny" Dawson.

She is survived by: her sister Lisa Altschuler Liberman (Adam Liberman) of Brunswick Hills, OH; her nephew Benjamin Altschuler; her close friends, Ruth Ann and Scott Douglass; her uncle Charles Dawson; her aunt Anna Lee Johnson; Abigail Hughes, Stacy Kasprowicz (Dave), Candise, Walter Dawson (Kim) and Bill Dawson (Sue).
