He was predeceased by: his parents, Geporge Kopa and Mary Kopa (Luczanich); and his siblings, Charles, John, George, Andrew, Pat Kopa, Ann Von-Bergen, Elizabeth Allen and Mary Boney.
He is survived by: his wife Eleanora Kopa (Merenda); his children, Christian, Aaron-Joel Kopa, Gabrielle Gilbert (Rob) and Angelique Kopa (Harry Mantakos); his sister Sister Mary Euphemia (Helen); his grandchildren, Dominique Dober (Nathan), Ethan and Evan Gilbert; and his great grandchild Amelia Dober.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Saint Mary's Byzantine Church or Mary H. Weir Library in Weirton or Sisters of the Order of Saint Basil the Great in Uniontown, PA. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Steve Kopa 's name.
