It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tony Makricosta of Weirton, West Virginia, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Nick Makricosta and Helen Makricosta; and his sister Pamela Makricosta. He is survived by : his wife Sandra Makricosta; his grandchildren, Layla Bosley, Keith Baroni, Oliver Bosley and Hutch Haught; and his great grandchild Finn Baroni. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 6th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greco Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062).

Memorial contributions may be made to the All Saints Greek Orthodox Church 3528 West Street Weirton, WV 26062. The family greatly appreciates donations made to these charities in Tony "Greek" Makricosta 's name.
