She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Carr and Hattie Mae Cunningham Carr; her husband Austin Eugene Bassett; and her siblings, David Carr and Anna Mae Starvaggi.
She is survived by: her daughters, Pamela Jo Kirkpatrick (Lonnie) and Arietta M. Brown (Christopher); her siblings, Ernest Carr (Marsha), Mary Ann Carr, Harriett Sturges (Robert), Betty Dye and Peggy Sue Rice; her grandchildren, Brandon Bassett (Angie), Arietta Lynn Adams, Bella Mae Brown, Austin C. Brown, Jaden P. Brown and Arietta H. Brown; and her great grandchildren, Annabel, Brandon Lee Bassett, Michael, Alivia Holt, Evalynn and Joseph Adams.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home (3219 Main St, Weirton, WV 26062). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
