He was predeceased by: his parents, Edith McCarthy Barrett Custer and Charles A. Barrett; and his brother James Barrett. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Barrett; his stepchildren, Nancy Basile (Ross) of Lancaster, PA and Louis Martin (Krista) of Clinton, PA; his stepgrandchildren, Michael and Jane Basile; his nieces, Beth Anderson (David) of Weirton, WV, Kathy Barrett of Weirton, WV and Lora Underwood (Mike) of Weirton, WV; his nephew Mike Barrett (Marie) of Keene, NH; and his great-nieces, Amanda, Jennifer, Linsey, Emma and Eileen.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Weirton Madonna High School or St. Jude's Research Hospital, reflecting Bill's commitment to education and compassion.
