She was predeceased by : her parents, Lacy Kelly Sr. and Eunice Turpin Kelly; her husband John "Ned" Thomas Sr.; her son W. Dexter Simon; her stepsons, John Jr. and Tony Thomas; her brother Lacy Kelly Jr.; and her children-in-law, Roland of Washington and Christine Simon.
She is survived by : her daughter Patricia of Wilcoe, WV; her grandchildren, Benita, Ezekiel Bennett of Bluefield and Cederick Thomas (Kayla) of Pittsburg, CA; her stepchildren, Jawanda Gravely of Keystone, WV, Yolanda Keith of Northfork, WV and Elwin Thomas (Angie) of Keystone; and her sister Lillian Garner of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by other grandchildren, her nephews, nieces and friends.
