He was predeceased by : his parents, Emory Osborne and Sarah Osborne Moore; his wife Sylvia Osborne; his siblings, Jim, Ronald, Frank, Raymond Osborne and Jean Osborne; and his granddaughter Melissa Trent.

He is survived by : his great grandchild Thomas Trent; his children, Edward Lee Osborne Jr. of Winston Salem, NC, Maxine McPeak of Welch, Sue Wheeler of Welch and Tena Bowen (Don) of Oceana; and his siblings, Charles Osborne (Nellie) of Coaldale and Lettie Mae Mitchem of Charleston.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Douglas Mortuary (157 Wyoming St, Welch, WV 24801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Douglas Mortuary Chapel (157 Wyoming St, Welch, WV 24801).
