With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Herman Wesley Mattox of Welch, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Wesley Mattox, Sr. and Vassar Edwards Mattox; his sister Nancy Gray; his nephew Bill Tabb; and his in-laws, Paul and Cleo Carosi.
He is survived by: his close friend Paula; his children, Charish (Donnie) of Princeton, Amber (Jonah) of Beckley and Andrew (Kaityln) of Lake Field, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Michael, Cierra, Nate, Ben, Damien and Lea; and his sister Dianne Tabb of Texas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cook Memorial Baptist Church (366 Appalachian Hwy, Pineville, WV 24874). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location.
