He was predeceased by: his parents, Jess Bishop and Stella Williams Bishop; and his siblings, Charles, Fred Junior, Virginia Ruth, Mary Lue Green, Robert Lee, Harold David, Willard Bishop and Roy Bishop.
He is survived by: his children, Johnny Bishop Jr., Jess Bishop, Casey Bishop, Laurie Thorn, Ashley Grooms and Dasiray Bishop; and his siblings, Jess Bishop (Edith), Judy Bishop, Russell Bishop (Angie) and Billy Bishop (Charmaine). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Trinity Temple Pentecostal Holiness Church (134 Venus Rd, Welch, WV 24801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
