He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Clayton "Red" Hyatt, Sr. and Martha Alice "Mattie" (Barnett); his wife Georgia Ellen (Powers); his siblings, Anita "Judy" Barnes, Lawrence "Bowzer" Hyatt and Mary Gray; and his close friend Bill Adams.
He is survived by: his son David Hyatt (Holli); his sister Shirley Katusich (Joe) of Gales Ferry, CT; his grandchildren, Hannah Grace Hyatt of Alexandria, VA and Hunter Benjamin of Concord; and his nieces and nephews, Faye Dinnauer, DeLisa Katusich, Joey Katusich, Darrell Bledsoe and Craig Hyatt.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Blessing Box at Emmanuel Baptist Church, War, WV, to be used for others in need.
