He is survived by: his sisters, Rannetta J. Powell of Elkhorn, Brenda J. Powell of Elkhorn and Mary Redd of Georgia; his uncle Reverend Jerome; his aunts, Evangelist Sharon Powell and Loretta Powell; his nieces, Traci, Karima and Rashea; his nephew William E. Powell; and his caregiver Victor Helm of Kyle. He is also survived by 15 great-nieces and great-nephews; a host of cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Upland Baptist Church. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
