He was predeceased by : his parents, James Buxton and Florence Isabelle Buxton (Robison); his sisters, Norma Haddon and Lois Mozingo; and his parents-in-law, Chick and Betty Isinghood.

He is survived by : his wife Janet Buxton (Isinghood); his sons, Scott (Annette) and Todd Buxton; and his grandchildren, Madison Buxton, Krew Buxton and Knox Buxton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
