Geraldine R. Cross Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine R. Cross (Wellsburg, West Virginia), who passed away on November 22, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Geraldine's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Geraldine has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Woods and Ida Hyett Woods; her husband Howard E. Cross; her son Joel Cross; and her brothers, Floyd Woods and Melvin Dickenson.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Cross (Lisa) and Celesta "Carol" Hartley of Colliers, WV; and her stepsister Mary Lynn. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
