He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Cheeks and Jacqueline "Jackie" Cheeks (Joyce); his daughter Wendy Sue Kiger; and his siblings, Robert Martin "Marty" Cheeks and Karen Coen (Cheeks).
He is survived by: his wife Karen Cheeks; his daughter Beth Ferrari (Tim) of Wellsburg, WV; his grandchildren, Zachary, Alexander Ferrari and Abbey Kiger; his great grandchild Valkyrie Ferrari; his son-in-law Gordon R. Kiger II; and his brother Douglas Cheeks (Renee). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
