With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen I. Yost of Wellsburg, West Virginia, born in Martins Ferry, Ohio, who passed away on June 7, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Albert Hood; her husband Wilbert Yost Sr.; and her stepmother Lula Hood. She is survived by: her children, Wilbert Yost Jr. (Linda), Pam Northcraft (Bill), Brenda McCloskey (Mark) and Karen Yost (Jerry Ostrosky) of Wellsburg, WV; her siblings-in-law, Clyde Davis of Claysville, PA and Ann Morris of Moundsville, WV; and her sisters, Beulah McGowan (Larry), Rose Dillie of Wellsburg, WV, Demaris Daugherty of West Alexander, PA and Donna Schoolcraft (Sherrill). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
