He was predeceased by : his parents, Howard "Skeet" Irvin, Sr. and Clara Irvin (McQuisten); and his brother Charles Irvin. He is survived by : his wife Janet Irvin (Atwell); and his children, Deborah McCarthy (Kevin), Howard Rusty Irvin, III, Janice Shaffer (David) and Richard Irvin (Cecelia). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
