We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2022 we had to say goodbye to John W. McGowan of Wellsburg, West Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John P. McGowan; and his siblings, Loretta McGowan, Clara Wallace, Janet Miller, Jane Ann Fox, Lyle, Dan and Louis McGowan.

He is survived by: his wife Helen "Darlene" Myers McGowan; his son George P. McGowan (Marilyn) of Wellsburg, WV; his stepsons, Warren Wright (Carole) of Weirton, WV and Jim Crawford (Stacy) of Rockville, MD; his daughter Sharon Haught (Gary) of Wellsburg, WV; his stepdaughters, Toni Rose of North Canton, OH and Lisa Reigle (Duane) of Orlando, FL; his brother Lester McGown (Kathy) of Wellsburg, WV; his niece Wendy Isinghood (Ron); and his sons-in-law, Dean Harris of Weirton, WV and Jim Rose of Wheeling, WV. He is also survived by three grandchildren, ten step grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, ten step great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and seven step great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Shriners Children Hospital.
