She was predeceased by: her parents, William S. Riska and Jeanne S. Riska (Collett); her brother Stephen Riska; and her sister-in-law Darla Riska. She is survived by: her husband John L. Atkinson; her children, Amy Funk (Gary L.) of Galena, OH and John David Atkinson (Laura); her grandchildren, Sara Clevenger (Aaron), Tyler David Atkinson (Lacey), Emma Brandt Atkinson and Andrew Michael Funk; her great grandchild Chase David Atkinson; and her siblings, Dianne Stock (James) of Wellsburg, WV, Nancy Winzenreid (Keith) of St. Clairsville, OH, Joyce Hill (Don) of Santa Cruz, CA, Charles F. Riska of Chester, WV and Thomas C. Riska of Wellsburg, WV. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hooverson Heights Church of Christ (100 Church Ave, Follansbee, WV 26037).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hooverson Heights Church of Christ.
