He was predeceased by: his parents, William Thomas Van Horn and Roseanna Cleo Van Horn (Schwertfeger); his stepfather Raymond Wilson; and his grandchildren, Curtis Van Horn and Julia Rice.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Van Horn; his children, Amy Van Horn (Keith Francis) and Mark Van Horn (Joann); his grandchildren, Zack Van Horn and Eden Ziegler (Hunter); and his sisters, Mary Nichols (Keith) and Martha Mathews (John). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
