It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Madelon Jackson (Wellsburg, West Virginia), who passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Madelon may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Madelon touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Platter and Ada Platter (Bullock); her husband Lonney Howard Jackson; her nephew Scott Jackson; and her friends, Mark Kowcheck and Sissy Griffith.
She is survived by: her sons, Doug Jackson (Emily Hores) of Wellsburg, WV. and Chris Jackson of Wellsburg, WV.; and her grandchildren, Katie Castellucci of Boston, MA and Brynna Jackson.
