He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Thompson and A. Lenore Thompson (Roop); his brother Howard "Tommy" Thompson; and his grandson Brad Cipoletti. He is survived by: his sister Patti Antal of Wellsburg, WV; his daughters, Joy Kowalsky (Brian "Moe") of Follansbee, WV, Julie Harvey (Dave) of Wellsburg, WV and Elaine Cipoletti of Wellsburg, WV; his grandchildren, Allison Stoner (Wes), Brianna Goodman (Drew), Matthew Harvey and Brent Kowalsky; and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Devin Cipoletti, Ava and Weslee Stoner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
