She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Armstrong and Lola Armstrong (Jackson); her husband Richard "Jack" Vanhorn; and her siblings, Hugh Jackson, Barbra Curran and Penny Riggler.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie Handy (Tyler) of Archdale, NC, Betty Vanhorn of Weirton, WV and Steven Vanhorn (Twila) of Wintersville, OH; her grandchildren, Nate Vanhorn (Bethanie), Jonah Handy, Abbie Handy and Braxton Vanhorn; her great grandchildren, Zane and Lainey; and her sisters, Morien and Dorien.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Voice of Pentecost Church (106 Mendenhall St, Weirton, WV 26062). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
