He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Fields and Edith Fields (Roush) of Middleport, OH.. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Lynn Edwards; his children, Tyler Fields, Jason VanMeter (Courtney) of Pomeroy, OH, Amy Fields and Ashley Rickard (Carl) of Letart, WV; his siblings, Marty Roush (Linda) of Point Pleasant, Walt Roush (Gail) of Letart, Jeff Fields (Kelly) of Letart, Shawn Fields (Faye) of Andalusia, AL, Deidre Fields of Florida, Jessica Fields of Point Pleasant and Jennifer Fields of Point Pleasant; his grandchildren, Abel, Amelia Rickard, Cora, Callie Dowler and Jackson Robertson; and his parents-in-law, Robert and Mary Edwards.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home (2275 S 2nd St, Mason, WV 25260). A memorial service was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
