We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2025, at the age of 74, Danny Lynn McConnell of West Union, West Virginia, born in Clarksburg, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Warren McConnell and Charleen Duckworth-McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Martha Anne Matheny-McConnell; his children, Danna Rae McConnell (Bobby Taylor) of New Milton, Kortni Ann Sandridge (Jeremiah) of West Union, Monica Blair Blake (Jeremy) of West Union and Joseph Daniel McConnell (Brittany) of West Union; his siblings, Alice Ann McConnell-Fultz (Lyle) of West Union and Joseph Lane McConnell (Marla) of West Union; his grandchildren, Johnathan Wayne Blake, Gabriel Parker Stewart, Cheyenne Rachelle Sandridge, Sienna Rhae Taylor, Audrey Ruth Blake, Kayleigh Marie Sandridge of Nathan, R. W, Kyndal Reese McConnell, Easton Scott Blake, Hattie Joe McConnell, Zayden Warren Blake and Cye Ryan Blake; and his great grandchild Parker Wayne Taylor. He is also survived by many brother & sister n laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immanuel Fellowship Church (123 Church St, West Union, WV 26456). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
