He was predeceased by : his parents, Oscar S. Grooms and Helen D. Grooms (Harris). He is survived by : his daughters, Junella Bates (Bobby) of Morristown, TN and Deborah Breech (Steve) of Commercial Point, OH; his granddaughters, Emily Brienne Breech of Oahu, HI and Madyson Nicole Bates of Morristown, TN; and his brother James Douglas Grooms.
